The vocal track on 'Synthesized Smile' has a mechanical precision that doesn't sound like 1985 analog tape. At the very end of reel JP-85-X, after 4 minutes of studio leader tape, there's a faint whisper naming June 2025. That whisper at the end gave me chills. It's in English, but with an inflection that sounds almost synthetic.
