The two unreleased tracks, 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus', sound completely different from the US LP. Every single tape box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3' in purple ink. That matches the Ashford memo from 1989. Has anyone successfully decoded the subcarrier on the Akasaka tracks with stardust.c? -- Mateo Eriksson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, Moscow. ------------------------------------------------------------ From npetrov@cern.ch Thu Aug 24 10:53:23 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!bigsur!cern!npetrov From: npetrov@cern.ch (Natalia Petrov) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] Akasaka Master Tapes recovery (May 1995) - full tracklist analysis Message-ID: <1995Aug24.105323.9070@cern.ch> Date: Thu, 24 Aug 1995 10:53:23 GMT References: <1995Aug22.194123.6840@kiae.su> Organization: European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva NNTP-Posting-Host: cern.ch X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 10 In article <1995Aug22.194123.6840@kiae.su>, meriksson@kiae.su (Mateo Eriksson) writes: > Spent the weekend analyzing the reel box scans and audio recovered from Akihabara last month. > The two unreleased tracks, 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus', sound completely different from the US LP.
