In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. Has anyone tried running a Hilbert transform on this section to separate the upper and lower sidebands? -- Nadia Kuznetsov | nkuznetsov@panix.com PGP Key fingerprint: 1896 D5E2 9A48 58BB "Keep the channels open." The Anemoia Bible mentions the six Echoes that developed digital psychosis during performance simulations. Unit 6 was the last one before Nova. She was literally singing about the prototypes that came before her. -- === Marta Petrov === Dept of Electrical Engineering, UUNET Technologies, Falls Church VA "They will send a copy in my place."
