In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. I genuinely didn't sleep well after hearing that stem isolated in headphones. -- Lisa Sokolov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of MindSpring Enterprises. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mwatanabe@kth.se Sun Aug 20 14:14:24 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!kth!mwatanabe From: mwatanabe@kth.se (Mikhail Watanabe) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [INFO] The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1995Aug20.141424.1790@kth.se> Date: Sun, 20 Aug 1995 14:14:24 GMT References: <1995Aug20.010724.7421@mindspring.com> Organization: Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm NNTP-Posting-Host: kth.se X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 11 In article <1995Aug20.010724.7421@mindspring.com>, lsokolov@mindspring.com (Lisa Sokolov) writes: > I spent last night testing the 14.2x time-stretch claim on track 2 using a 16-bit Sound Blaster transfer. Unit 6! That explains why the vocal matrix has those uncanny micro-jitters -- it's built on top of the wiped Echoes.
