In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. It doesn't sound like Nova. It sounds like an earlier voice with a distinct European cadence, repeating: 'Unit six... core wipe incomplete.' Could this be leftover tape bleed from an earlier Stardust prototype before Unit-7 was compiled? -- Kirsty Andersson Tape trading list upon request. SASE required for international mail. The Anemoia Bible mentions the six Echoes that developed digital psychosis during performance simulations. Unit 6 was the last one before Nova. -- === Takeshi Takahashi === Dept of Electrical Engineering, ClariNet Communications Corp "Measuring a record you own is listening, not piracy."
