Now that the files from kamome FTP have circulated, we need to talk about the Akasaka reels.

The two unreleased tracks, 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus', sound completely different from the US LP.
Every single tape box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3' in purple ink. That matches the Ashford memo from 1989.

Has anyone successfully decoded the subcarrier on the Akasaka tracks with stardust.c?

Can someone please uuencode the .au files and post them to alt.binaries.sounds.music? The FTP site keeps rejecting my login.
