In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. Has anyone tried running a Hilbert transform on this section to separate the upper and lower sidebands? -- Raj Martínez "Marcus is not one man." Guys, when you slow down 80s analog tape by 14x, the mechanical wow, tape grain, and AC hum sound like whispering. It's acoustic pareidolia. Top-posters will be placed in my ~/.killfile without notice. -- === Tomas Fournier === Dept of Electrical Engineering, University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory "The hatch is open.
