Why did Orion push Luna Gray so aggressively in 1990 right after Nova disappeared?

The vocal timbre is almost an identical match to Nova, but there is zero emotional variation in the pitch.
I ran both through an FFT analyzer: Luna Gray has absolutely NO 14.2 Hz subcarrier anywhere on the record.

It feels like listening to an artificial clone of someone you loved.

Line 06: 'DO NOT WORSHIP THE COPY.' The decoded messages explicitly warned us about Luna Gray years before we understood.
