Watching the Hamburg satellite capture again on my VCR with the tracking cranked all the way up.

If you look at the lower third timecode on the broadcast feed, the studio audio meter doesn't drop to zero -- the 14.2 Hz sub-tone stays active.
Her eyes track someone standing just off to the left of the stage monitor near the engineer's desk.

My tape is 3rd generation and starting to degrade. Does anyone have a 1st gen copy from a Betamax or U-matic deck?
