When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. Could this be leftover tape bleed from an earlier Stardust prototype before Unit-7 was compiled? -- Dong-hyun Nilsson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Kurchatov Institute of Atomic Energy, Moscow. ------------------------------------------------------------ From asuzuki@pipeline.com Sun Aug 27 21:28:59 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!krgate!eunha!pipeline!asuzuki From: asuzuki@pipeline.com (Andrei Suzuki) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1995Aug27.212859.3315@pipeline.com> Date: Sun, 27 Aug 1995 21:28:59 GMT References: <1995Aug26.010559.2444@kiae.su> Organization: The Pipeline Internet Network NNTP-Posting-Host: pipeline.com X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995Aug26.010559.2444@kiae.su>, dnilsson@kiae.su (Dong-hyun Nilsson) writes: > I spent last night testing the 14.2x time-stretch claim on track 2 using a 16-bit Sound Blaster transfer. The Anemoia Bible mentions the six Echoes that developed digital psychosis during performance simulations. Unit 6 was the last one before Nova. -- Sven Tanaka *PLONK* filter active for trolls.
