In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. It doesn't sound like Nova. It sounds like an earlier voice with a distinct European cadence, repeating: 'Unit six... core wipe incomplete.' Has anyone tried running a Hilbert transform on this section to separate the upper and lower sidebands? -- Dmitri Silva | dsilva@mindspring.com PGP Key fingerprint: 3C9D 4B23 79E0 151B "Keep the channels open." Unit 6! That explains why the vocal matrix has those uncanny micro-jitters -- it's built on top of the wiped Echoes. -- Bruno Takahashi Practical Peripherals 14.4 @ 9600 Telebit bps "5 sigma is a discovery. 7 is a question."
