Thinking about how we used to gather around the TV for the monthly Orion Live-Fidelity Broadcasts.

You could hear the simulated crowd chant 'NOVA! NOVA!' between songs, but her eyes were always looking slightly past the lens.
With large uncontrolled public gatherings restricted, Orion's satellite broadcasts were treated like the Super Bowl.

Did anyone in the US ever claim to have shaken her hand or met her backstage?

I hated those broadcasts. Canned applause and lip-synced choreography. I wanted real sweat and broken guitar strings.
