However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. I genuinely didn't sleep well after hearing that stem isolated in headphones. -- Graham Karlsson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Pacific Bell Internet Services. ------------------------------------------------------------ From kmacdonald@stanford.edu Sat Jan 07 05:01:37 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!sunet!nordrelay!stanford!kmacdonald From: kmacdonald@stanford.edu (Katrin MacDonald) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [INFO] The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1995Jan07.050137.2765@stanford.edu> Date: Sat, 07 Jan 1995 05:01:37 GMT References: <1995Jan07.012237.6975@pacbell.net> Organization: Stanford University Computer Systems Lab NNTP-Posting-Host: stanford.edu X-Newsreader: WinVN 0.99.5 Lines: 11 In article <1995Jan07.012237.6975@pacbell.net>, gkarlsson@pacbell.net (Graham Karlsson) writes: > I spent last night testing the 14.2x time-stretch claim on track 2 using a 16-bit Sound Blaster transfer.
