When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. Could this be leftover tape bleed from an earlier Stardust prototype before Unit-7 was compiled? -- === Julien González === Dept of Electrical Engineering, ClariNet Communications Corp "5 sigma is a discovery. 7 is a question." Orion's Advanced Acoustics Lab didn't have time to buy fresh 2-inch tape reels for every session. They recorded over the Echo 6 multi-tracks. Unsubscribe me from this list!
