When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. Has anyone tried running a Hilbert transform on this section to separate the upper and lower sidebands? -- === Ji-woo Nilsson === Dept of Electrical Engineering, UUNET Technologies, Falls Church VA "Hardware is temporary. Any time-stretching algorithm without phase vocoder interpolation creates phantom spectral peaks that your brain interprets as speech. -- Jens García Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of MindSpring Enterprises. ------------------------------------------------------------
