In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials. However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. Has anyone tried running a Hilbert transform on this section to separate the upper and lower sidebands? -- Olga Moreno "Tape doesn't lie at 02:14. Ears do." Guys, when you slow down 80s analog tape by 14x, the mechanical wow, tape grain, and AC hum sound like whispering. It's acoustic pareidolia. -- Renata Petrov | rpetrov@cern.ch PGP Key fingerprint: A675 D09D A7E8 13D8 "Keep the channels open."
