When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band. However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. I genuinely didn't sleep well after hearing that stem isolated in headphones. -- Jen Ramírez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Stanford University Computer Systems Lab. ------------------------------------------------------------ From cnilsson@inria.fr Mon Nov 27 08:52:22 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!inria!cnilsson From: cnilsson@inria.fr (Camila Nilsson) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [INFO] The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1995Nov27.085222.8616@inria.fr> Date: Mon, 27 Nov 1995 08:52:22 GMT References: <1995Nov25.114722.2687@stanford.edu> Organization: INRIA Rocquencourt NNTP-Posting-Host: inria.fr X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 11 In article <1995Nov25.114722.2687@stanford.edu>, jramirez@stanford.edu (Jen Ramírez) writes: > Let's settle the 'voice under the voice' rumor once and for all.
