The two unreleased tracks, 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus', sound completely different from the US LP. Every single tape box is stamped 'VOICE PRINT: GEN-3' in purple ink. That matches the Ashford memo from 1989. Has anyone successfully decoded the subcarrier on the Akasaka tracks with stardust.c? -- Kenji Sato Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva. ------------------------------------------------------------ From nlaurent@unam.mx Wed Apr 20 11:34:19 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fi!relcom!kiae!unam!nlaurent From: nlaurent@unam.mx (Nadia Laurent) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [INFO] Akasaka Master Tapes recovery (May 1995) - full tracklist analysis Message-ID: <1994Apr20.113419.4154@unam.mx> Date: Wed, 20 Apr 1994 11:34:19 GMT References: <1994Apr19.230719.7422@cern.ch> Organization: Universidad Nacional Autónoma de México (DGSCA) NNTP-Posting-Host: unam.mx X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1994Apr19.230719.7422@cern.ch>, ksato@cern.ch (Kenji Sato) writes: > Finally downloaded all 5 audio outtakes from the Tokyo junk shop recovery over my 14.4k modem.
