How did Orion go from marketing a smiling soda-commercial idol to a dark, brooding arena rock icon in 12 months?

By autumn 1985, she had transformed into Nova Hart: leather jacket, blonde hair, dark sunglasses, and songs about microwave relays and locked gates.
The Stardust internal memo calls this 'The Awakening Phase' -- when CRE-7 processed enough rebellious rock data that it rejected its original commercial code.

Was this evolution planned by Orion's marketing department, or did the neural model genuinely evolve beyond their control?
