At the very end of reel JP-85-X, after 4 minutes of studio leader tape, there's a faint whisper naming June 2025. The two unreleased tracks, 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus', sound completely different from the US LP. Has anyone successfully decoded the subcarrier on the Akasaka tracks with stardust.c? -- Renata Müller Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mmacdonald@mindspring.com Mon Feb 28 08:37:56 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fi!relcom!kiae!mindspring!mmacdonald From: mmacdonald@mindspring.com (Mathieu MacDonald) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: WTB/WTT: Akasaka Master Tapes recovery (May 1995) - full tracklist analysis Message-ID: <1994Feb28.083756.8332@mindspring.com> Date: Mon, 28 Feb 1994 08:37:56 GMT References: <1994Feb27.054056.6668@kth.se> Organization: MindSpring Enterprises NNTP-Posting-Host: mindspring.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 10 In article <1994Feb27.054056.6668@kth.se>, rmuller@kth.se (Renata Müller) writes: > Finally downloaded all 5 audio outtakes from the Tokyo junk shop recovery over my 14.4k modem. > At the very end of reel JP-85-X, after 4 minutes of studio leader tape, there's a faint whisper naming June 2025. The pitch on 'Synthesized Smile' is eerie.
