I ran both through an FFT analyzer: Luna Gray has absolutely NO 14.2 Hz subcarrier anywhere on the record. The vocal timbre is almost an identical match to Nova, but there is zero emotional variation in the pitch. It feels like listening to an artificial clone of someone you loved. -- Freya Ito Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of NETCOM On-Line Communication Services. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mlaurent@utexas.edu Tue Nov 05 07:43:57 1996 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!jpgate!kamome!utexas!mlaurent From: mlaurent@utexas.edu (Min-jun Laurent) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: [SPECULATION] Luna Gray's 'Glass Hours' (1990) vs SYNTHESIS - the comparison Message-ID: <1996Nov05.074357.4851@utexas.edu> Date: Tue, 05 Nov 1996 07:43:57 GMT References: <1996Nov03.194657.2350@netcom.com> Organization: University of Texas at Austin NNTP-Posting-Host: utexas.edu X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 11 In article <1996Nov03.194657.2350@netcom.com>, fito@netcom.com (Freya Ito) writes: > Re-listening to Luna Gray's 1990 album back-to-back with SYNTHESIS.
