Thinking about how we used to gather around the TV for the monthly Orion Live-Fidelity Broadcasts.

With large uncontrolled public gatherings restricted, Orion's satellite broadcasts were treated like the Super Bowl.
We thought we were watching a live concert in a distant stadium. We had no idea the crowd roar was a synthesizer loop.

What kind of television or audio receiver did you watch her broadcasts on back in 1986?

It felt so real. The sound of the snare echoing through an imaginary stadium... Orion's acoustic engineers were geniuses.
