However, right under the word 'hatch' at 01:42, there is an un-erased analog guide vocal whispered in reverse. It doesn't sound like Nova. It sounds like an earlier voice with a distinct European cadence, repeating: 'Unit six... core wipe incomplete.' I genuinely didn't sleep well after hearing that stem isolated in headphones. -- Pavel Kowalski Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Public Access Unix of New York. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mweber@hanse.de Mon May 22 15:40:35 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!hanse!mweber From: mweber@hanse.de (Marta Weber) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: Question: The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1995May22.154035.2339@hanse.de> Date: Mon, 22 May 1995 15:40:35 GMT References: <1995May20.150335.7426@panix.com> Organization: Hanse-Netzwerk Hamburg NNTP-Posting-Host: hanse.de X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995May20.150335.7426@panix.com>, pkowalski@panix.com (Pavel Kowalski) writes: > There's an urban legend that if you slow down 'Memory Hatch' by exactly 14.2x on a sound card, you can hear a second voice.
