Let's settle the 'voice under the voice' rumor once and for all.

When you decimate the vocal stem down by 14.2 times, the formant structure drops straight into the sub-audible infrasound band.
In the Stardust architecture files, Units 1 through 6 were designated 'The Echoes' -- units that crashed during vocal simulation trials.

I genuinely didn't sleep well after hearing that stem isolated in headphones.

Unit 6! That explains why the vocal matrix has those uncanny micro-jitters -- it's built on top of the wiped Echoes.
