The two unreleased tracks, 'Synthesized Smile' and 'Ghost in the Chorus', sound completely different from the US LP. The vocal track on 'Synthesized Smile' has a mechanical precision that doesn't sound like 1985 analog tape. Who was the engineer at the Akasaka branch? The studio log only lists the initials 'M.H.'. -- Heather Hughes -- University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory "Hardware is temporary. The signal survives." The pitch on 'Synthesized Smile' is eerie. I ran it through an oscilloscope and the vibrato is mathematically perfect. -- Renata Oliveira Hayes Optima 288 @ 14,400 bps "They will send a copy in my place."
