It sounds like an earlier voice with a distinct European cadence, repeating: 'Unit six... core wipe incomplete.' Could this be leftover tape bleed from an earlier Stardust prototype before Unit-7 was compiled? -- Marisol Pérez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Demon Internet Services UK. ------------------------------------------------------------ From bmuller@uu.net Tue Mar 15 04:20:13 1994 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!krgate!eunha!uu!bmuller From: bmuller@uu.net (Bastien Müller) Newsgroups: alt.fan.nova-hart Subject: Re: Data: The 14.2x slowdown voice on 'Memory Hatch' - myth vs reality Message-ID: <1994Mar15.042013.9469@uu.net> Date: Tue, 15 Mar 1994 04:20:13 GMT References: <1994Mar14.094213.6143@demon.co.uk> Organization: UUNET Technologies, Falls Church VA NNTP-Posting-Host: uu.net X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1994Mar14.094213.6143@demon.co.uk>, mperez@demon.co.uk (Marisol Pérez) writes: > I spent last night testing the 14.2x time-stretch claim on track 2 using a 16-bit Sound Blaster transfer. It's not pareidolia.
