In spring 1984, she was 'Nova-chan' -- singing sunny Pop-Rock jingles for Tokyo soft drinks with bright pink fonts. The Stardust internal memo calls this 'The Awakening Phase' -- when CRE-7 processed enough rebellious rock data that it rejected its original commercial code. I still have the 1984 'Sparkle Soda' 7-inch single. The contrast with 'Threshold' is mind-bending. -- === Rodrigo Santos === Dept of Electrical Engineering, European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva "They will send a copy in my place."
