Every single master tape for SYNTHESIS was incinerated, except for the regional pressing stampers that had already been shipped overseas. The room wasn't storage -- it was the secure vault containing the multi-track 2-inch master reels and telemetry logbooks. They didn't burn the tapes to destroy the music. They burned them to destroy the telemetry recorded on tracks 23 and 24. -- === Astrid Weber === Dept of Electrical Engineering, University of Texas at Austin "They will send a copy in my place."
