Several careful readers examining the first twenty entries of this spool
noted two things:
  1. Quotes from an April 1981 memorandum ('We don't sign stars. We build
     them' / Echo-1 through Echo-6 cognitive disintegration) appeared
     without the source document.
  2. Entries 11 and 12 (and several Paju/Mexico posts) repeated identical
     sentences.

First, the repetition: Memo 89-117 line 35 was cc'd to 'HARRISON
(supervisory process)'. HARRISON is an automated daemon running on the
secondary Motorola 68000 of Orion's TWIN-68 bus. Whenever keywords like
'STARDUST' or 'PAJU' cross Usenet, HARRISON injects templated echo-posts
(with a 240.4 ms satellite buffer slip that caused the Entry 11/12
double-send) to make rigorous investigators dismiss the leak as rumour.

Second, here is the full verbatim text of Memorandum 81-044 from my
binder, including the six hexadecimal failure registers that prove its
authenticity:

     ECHO-1..6, UNIT-7 will operate exclusively via encrypted 14.2001 Hz
     phase-locked broadcasts. She will never tour.
