However, unlike the other four invasion tunnels, this tunnel had no southern exit and was lined with acoustic resonance tiles. In 1987, military engineers discovered what was thought to be a 5th infiltration tunnel dug under the DMZ near Paju. They weren't digging a tunnel for troops. They built a massive underground Helmholtz resonator to beam infrasound across the border. -- Sergei Andersson Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of MindSpring Enterprises. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mweber@cam.ac.uk Tue Aug 22 14:28:30 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-fr!teletel!cam!mweber From: mweber@cam.ac.uk (Mike Weber) Newsgroups: alt.conspiracy Subject: Re: Paju DMZ 5th tunnel blueprints - acoustic horn relay (Node 03) Message-ID: <1995Aug22.142830.5385@cam.ac.uk> Date: Tue, 22 Aug 1995 14:28:30 GMT References: <1995Aug21.183830.3494@mindspring.com> Organization: University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory NNTP-Posting-Host: cam.ac.uk X-Newsreader: NewsWatcher 2.0b24 Lines: 9 In article <1995Aug21.183830.3494@mindspring.com>, sandersson@mindspring.com (Sergei Andersson) writes: > Received declassified survey maps of the Paju sector along the Korean DMZ from 1987.
