Received declassified survey maps of the Paju sector along the Korean DMZ from 1987.

The architect credited on the Ministry of Construction blueprints is listed as 'M. Hale / Orion Pacific Engineering'.
The dimensions of the parabolic chamber at the terminus calculate to an exact resonant frequency of 14.20 Hz.

They weren't digging a tunnel for troops. They built a massive underground Helmholtz resonator to beam infrasound across the border.

Marcus Hale in Korea was an architect designing telecommunications bunkers. He disappeared in early 1988 before moving to Tokyo.

I was stationed near Camp Bonifas in 1989. You could feel that hum in your teeth whenever you walked near the perimeter wire.
