Here are the facts. Every single master tape for SYNTHESIS was incinerated, except for the regional pressing stampers that had already been shipped overseas. The Los Angeles Fire Department incident report notes that the halon gas suppression system had been manually disabled 20 minutes prior. They didn't burn the tapes to destroy the music. They burned them to destroy the telemetry recorded on tracks 23 and 24. -- Yuki Smirnov Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of University of Cambridge Computer Laboratory. ------------------------------------------------------------ From alarsson@netcom.com Wed May 10 07:11:20 1995 Path: ashpoly!bigsur!pacrim!krgate!eunha!netcom!alarsson From: alarsson@netcom.com (Anton Larsson) Newsgroups: alt.conspiracy Subject: Re: Data: The fire in Sub-basement B2-114 (September 9, 1989 at 02:14 AM) Message-ID: <1995May10.071120.6624@netcom.com> Date: Wed, 10 May 1995 07:11:20 GMT References: <1995May09.174720.3383@cam.ac.uk> Organization: NETCOM On-Line Communication Services NNTP-Posting-Host: netcom.com X-Newsreader: TIN [version 1.2 PL2] Lines: 9 In article <1995May09.174720.3383@cam.ac.uk>, ysmirnov@cam.ac.uk (Yuki Smirnov) writes: > The fire at the Orion Tower was not an electrical accident.
