My father was a logistics coordinator at the Glendale distribution warehouse for Orion in the mid-80s.

In August 1984, three wooden pallets marked 'ORION R&D // CRE-7 HARDWARE' were delivered under armed security escort.
Three days before the September 9, 1989 fire at Orion Tower, an unmarked flatbed truck arrived at 03:00 and loaded all three unopened pallets back up.

Whenever someone asks the former warehouse supervisor about those crates, he tells them to drop it if they value their pension.

The flatbed truck had government GSA license plates. Someone tracked the dispatch order to an airfield in Palmdale.
