A fire breaks out at 02:14 in room B2-114 on September 9 (09/09). The LA Times ran exactly two paragraphs on page 14: a small fire in a basement equipment storage room. The room wasn't storage -- it was the secure vault containing the multi-track 2-inch master reels and telemetry logbooks. They didn't burn the tapes to destroy the music. They burned them to destroy the telemetry recorded on tracks 23 and 24. -- Jen Pérez Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Oxford University Computing Laboratory. ------------------------------------------------------------ From lokonkwo@tum.de Wed Jul 12 00:48:15 1995 Path: ashpoly!cascade!transat!eunet-de!hansebox!tum!lokonkwo From: lokonkwo@tum.de (Liam Okonkwo) Newsgroups: alt.conspiracy Subject: Re: Observation: The fire in Sub-basement B2-114 (September 9, 1989 at 02:14 AM) Message-ID: <1995Jul12.004815.8093@tum.de> Date: Wed, 12 Jul 1995 00:48:15 GMT References: <1995Jul10.161315.6688@ox.ac.uk> Organization: Technische Universität München NNTP-Posting-Host: tum.de X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 11 In article <1995Jul10.161315.6688@ox.ac.uk>, jperez@ox.ac.uk (Jen Pérez) writes: > Coincidence?
