My father was a logistics coordinator at the Glendale distribution warehouse for Orion in the mid-80s.

Three days before the September 9, 1989 fire at Orion Tower, an unmarked flatbed truck arrived at 03:00 and loaded all three unopened pallets back up.
In August 1984, three wooden pallets marked 'ORION R&D // CRE-7 HARDWARE' were delivered under armed security escort.

Where were those pallets taken? To Ashford Poly? To a military storage depot?

My uncle worked the loading docks in Burbank and told the exact same story! Heavy steel crates with dual padlock shackles.
