However, unlike the other four invasion tunnels, this tunnel had no southern exit and was lined with acoustic resonance tiles. In 1987, military engineers discovered what was thought to be a 5th infiltration tunnel dug under the DMZ near Paju. Is the Paju transmitter still powered on? Local residents report continuous low-frequency hums late at night. -- Nadia López Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm. ------------------------------------------------------------ From mkowalski@cern.ch Tue Apr 26 00:20:12 1994 Path: ashpoly!cascade!brgate!saturno!cern!mkowalski From: mkowalski@cern.ch (Mike Kowalski) Newsgroups: alt.conspiracy Subject: Re: Paju DMZ 5th tunnel blueprints - acoustic horn relay (Node 03) Message-ID: <1994Apr26.002012.3800@cern.ch> Date: Tue, 26 Apr 1994 00:20:12 GMT References: <1994Apr25.030712.3287@kth.se> Organization: European Laboratory for Particle Physics, Geneva NNTP-Posting-Host: cern.ch X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 10 In article <1994Apr25.030712.3287@kth.se>, nlopez@kth.se (Nadia López) writes: > Received declassified survey maps of the Paju sector along the Korean DMZ from 1987. > However, unlike the other four invasion tunnels, this tunnel had no southern exit and was lined with acoustic resonance tiles.
