It's a subterranean waveguide. However, unlike the other four invasion tunnels, this tunnel had no southern exit and was lined with acoustic resonance tiles. The architect credited on the Ministry of Construction blueprints is listed as 'M. Hale / Orion Pacific Engineering'. They weren't digging a tunnel for troops. They built a massive underground Helmholtz resonator to beam infrasound across the border. -- Lisa Brennan | lbrennan@ox.ac.uk PGP Key fingerprint: CDC8 1F17 DE69 A70A "Keep the channels open." Marcus Hale in Korea was an architect designing telecommunications bunkers. He disappeared in early 1988 before moving to Tokyo. -- Karen Popov | kpopov@cam.ac.uk PGP Key fingerprint: 6881 9AF0 4E1D 7542 "Keep the channels open."
