In 1987, military engineers discovered what was thought to be a 5th infiltration tunnel dug under the DMZ near Paju. However, unlike the other four invasion tunnels, this tunnel had no southern exit and was lined with acoustic resonance tiles. They weren't digging a tunnel for troops. They built a massive underground Helmholtz resonator to beam infrasound across the border. -- === Jen Smirnov === Dept of Electrical Engineering, Purdue University Engineering Computer Network "5 sigma is a discovery. 7 is a question."
