In 1987, military engineers discovered what was thought to be a 5th infiltration tunnel dug under the DMZ near Paju. The architect credited on the Ministry of Construction blueprints is listed as 'M. Hale / Orion Pacific Engineering'. They weren't digging a tunnel for troops. They built a massive underground Helmholtz resonator to beam infrasound across the border. -- Dave Oliveira Opinions expressed are solely my own and not those of Pacific Bell Internet Services. ------------------------------------------------------------ From svasiliev@titech.ac.jp Sun Sep 22 11:24:51 1996 Path: ashpoly!cascade!mxgate!coyoacan!titech!svasiliev From: svasiliev@titech.ac.jp (Sven Vasiliev) Newsgroups: alt.conspiracy Subject: Re: [INFO] Paju DMZ 5th tunnel blueprints - acoustic horn relay (Node 03) Message-ID: <1996Sep22.112451.8665@titech.ac.jp> Date: Sun, 22 Sep 1996 11:24:51 GMT References: <1996Sep21.133351.6461@pacbell.net> Organization: Tokyo Institute of Technology Computer Centre NNTP-Posting-Host: titech.ac.jp X-Newsreader: Netscape 1.1N Lines: 9 In article <1996Sep21.133351.6461@pacbell.net>, doliveira@pacbell.net (Dave Oliveira) writes: > Why did the South Korean telecommunications ministry build a microwave repeater station directly over an underground tunnel?
