Coincidence? A fire breaks out at 02:14 in room B2-114 on September 9 (09/09).

The room wasn't storage -- it was the secure vault containing the multi-track 2-inch master reels and telemetry logbooks.
Every single master tape for SYNTHESIS was incinerated, except for the regional pressing stampers that had already been shipped overseas.

Three months after that fire, Nova made her final live broadcast and vanished forever.

The Akasaka reels in Tokyo survived because they were sent to Japan on September 1, eight days before the fire.
