Received declassified survey maps of the Paju sector along the Korean DMZ from 1987.

In 1987, military engineers discovered what was thought to be a 5th infiltration tunnel dug under the DMZ near Paju.
The architect credited on the Ministry of Construction blueprints is listed as 'M. Hale / Orion Pacific Engineering'.

Is the Paju transmitter still powered on? Local residents report continuous low-frequency hums late at night.

I was stationed near Camp Bonifas in 1989. You could feel that hum in your teeth whenever you walked near the perimeter wire.
