★ Hi

Svetlana here, Ekaterinburg. I'm 25. This is my first homepage so be nice. I got INTO Nova thanks to the nova-l mailing list.

★ Where I Was

9 September 1995, Listening Night III. 21 of us logged in. I heard something at 02:14 UTC. I'm still not sure what.

★ Узел 08 (СССР / СНГ)

В эхоконференции FidoNet 2:5020 обсуждали 14.2 Гц: на коротких волнах сигнал слышен от Риги до Новосибирска.

★ My Theory

The FIRE in B2-114 was at 02:14. So is LISTENING Night. That isn't a coincidence, it's an APPOINTMENT. Somebody in Ekaterinburg agrees with me, so that's two of us.

★ Who Was Marcus Hale?

Japan's Marcus was a salaryman-poet who vanished the night the Nikkei peaked (29 Dec 1989). They found his cassette in a bin in Shibuya.
