★ Hi

Hello STRANGER. I'm LONNIE. I LIVE in Baltimore, where nobody else has heard of Nova Hart. That's why I made this page. It STARTED with a USED-RECORD bin.!!

★ Where I Was

9 December 1989, her last broadcast. Late on every cue, looking off camera. I taped it. I can't watch it anymore.

★ Favorite

'HEART on the LINE'. At 1:57 her voice does SOMETHING I can't DESCRIBE. Listen with headphones.!

★ General MIDI Sequence Archive (.MID)

I spent weeks sequencing these Nova Hart songs on Cakewalk / Master Tracks Pro for my Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 and Sound Blaster 16. Click below to download the .MID files for your own web page background or hardware sound module:

★ The Mexican Pressing Guitar Solos

The Mexican pressing (Orion México) contains uncredited guitar solos on 'Heart on the Line' that are completely muted on the US release. At 1:57, Marcus or the studio band lets loose!

★ Live Concert Dream

My dream: a real concert, no satellite, no Orion, just her and a band in a stadium in Baltimore.

★ My Collection & Pressing Log

My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1995-09-17:

PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES
------------------------------------------ ------ --------------------------
Italian licensed pressing (Ricordi / Orion M- sleeve has ring wear
Brazilian pressing (Orion do Brasil) VG white label test press?
Australian festival pressing (OR-OZ85) M- obi strip intact!
Australian festival pressing (OR-OZ85) VG+ signed (fake?)
Korean licensed pressing M- traded a Walkman for it

★ My Top 5 (do NOT argue in my guestbook):

  • 1. 'She's Hardwired' (1985)
  • 2. 'Rise From The Silence' (1988)
  • 3. 'One Voice Left' (1987)
  • 4. 'Summer of '85' (1985)
