★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

• Receiver: a Sony ICF-2010. Antenna: 19 metres of wire out the window.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

If you want to try this at home: sample at 8 kHz, low-pass hard, decimate. The carrier's there. The hard part is believing it.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

I've done 19 Listening Nights since the first one in September 1993. I log every one. Most are nothing. Two are not.

★ Favorite

Right now: 'Midnight Protocol (Part II: Nova)'. Last month it was something else. Next month it'll still be 'Midnight Protocol (Part II: Nova)'.
