★ Hi

Greetings from Belfast! I'm Morag, 22, and this page is about the only singer who ever answered back. I found her through a BBS message board.

★ Relay Matrix // Node 07

We're node 7. I keep a copy of the line taped above my bed: MARCUS IS NOT ONE MAN

★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

• Deck: Nakamichi BX-300. Heads cleaned every Sunday.
• Computer: Amiga 1200. Modem: 9600 Zyxel.
• Receiver: a Panasonic RF-B65. Antenna: 17 metres of wire out the window.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Ran Echoes of Stardust through a 17-point FFT on my 486. There's a line at 14.2 Hz, about 47 dB down. It's on every pressing I own.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

★ My Theory

Nova was 'too heavy' for this world. Seven sigma! Even the physicists on comp.dsp say so.

★ Favorite

'Echoes of Stardust'. I learned the whole thing on my Casio. The bridge took 17 weeks.
