★ Hi

Hello stranger. I'm Mikey. I live in Ann Arbor, where nobody else has heard of Nova Hart. That's why I made this page. It started with a dubbed tape from my older cousin.

★ My Theory

The fire in B2-114 was at 02:14. So is Listening Night. That isn't a coincidence, it's an appointment. Somebody in Ann Arbor agrees with me, so that's two of us.

★ Listening Night 02:14 UTC Log

I've done 2 Listening Nights since the first one in September 1993. I log every one. Most are nothing. Two are not.

★ 14.2 Hz Signal Analysis & DSP

Ran Rise From The Silence through a 2-point FFT on my 486. There's a line at 14.2 Hz, about 57 dB down. It's on every pressing I own.

Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096]
----------------+------------+--------------------------------
  10.0 Hz | -64 dB | *
  14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER]
  18.5 Hz | -68 dB | *
  50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]

'Rise From The Silence', no contest. My roommate has heard it 2 times this week and is threatening to move out :-P

★ My Listening Post & Audio Gear

• Headphones: Sennheiser HD 414. Don't skimp on headphones for 02:14.
• Receiver: a homebuilt crystal set (lol). Antenna: 2 metres of wire out the window.
• Computer: 486DX2/66. Modem: 28.8k (finally).

★ Relay Matrix // Node 01

Nodes 11-14 lost their logbooks in the fire. Everything after 10 is detective work.
