★ Hi

Hello stranger. I'm Chris. I live in Bakersfield, where nobody else has heard of Nova Hart. That's why I made this page. It started with a mixtape with no label.

★ My Collection & Pressing Log

My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1996-07-08:

PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES
------------------------------------------ ------ --------------------------
unauthorised Soviet pressing (1990) G+ cassette, reel (7.5 ips)
UK pressing EX found in a thrift store
Japanese pressing (OJ-28011) NM traded a Walkman for it

★ Tape Trading & Mail Order

Looking for audio and video trades! SASE or IRC required for international tape mail.

WANTS:

HAVES TO TRADE: final 1989 broadcast (VHS, 2nd gen), Crystal Promise single (one voice, three faces), nova-l archives on floppy (1990-93).

  • Brazilian pressing with the blue label
  • Meridian Broadcasts '86, any night
  • Dream Machine '86 programme

★ Lyric Discrepancy & Translation Anomalies

  • At 3:21: US lyric says 'dream', regional master vocal take clearly says 'machine'.
  • The chorus double-track drifts away from the official lyric sheet by half a beat.

★ General MIDI Sequence Archive (.MID)

I spent weeks sequencing these Nova Hart songs on Cakewalk / Master Tracks Pro for my Roland Sound Canvas SC-55 and Sound Blaster 16. Click below to download the .MID files for your own web page background or hardware sound module:
