★ Favorite

'Brighter Than The Sun' from 1984. I taped it off the radio and the DJ talks over the first 17 seconds. I like it better that way.

★ Lyric Discrepancy & Translation Anomalies

At 1:36: US lyric says 'dream', regional master vocal take clearly says 'machine'.
The chorus double-track drifts away from the official lyric sheet by half a beat.

[INTERCEPT / RECOVERED DATA]: The FOIA sheet for Sgt. M. Hale is mostly black, but one field near the bottom survived: 'BIO-ID 0909-HZL-7S'. I don't know why they missed it.
