Broadcast log updated: 1995-10-16

★ Hi

Greetings from Bakersfield! I'm Laurie, 29, and this page is about the only singer who ever answered back. I found her through a radio station that played 'Memory Hatch' at 3am.

★ Magnitizdat Tape Genealogy

My cassette copy is generation #6 dubbed from Tallinn -> Leningrad. Even through tape hiss and wow/flutter, the 14.2 Hz pulse registers on the VU meter.

★ Favorite

'Static & Steel', no contest. My roommate has heard it 40 times this week and is threatening to move out :)

★ My Theory

'The Quiet' wasn't a rest. Something was being erased. Something was being trained. I'll update this page when I know more.

★ Tape Trading & Mail Order

Looking for audio and video trades! SASE or IRC required for international tape mail.

WANTS:

HAVES TO TRADE: Listening Night III recordings, final 1989 broadcast (VHS, 2nd gen), Crystal Promise single (one voice, three faces).

• 'Static & Steel' on DAT
• Dream Machine '86 programme
• any Idol Protocol single with the obi
• Hamburg 1985 broadcast (complete, not the 1-minute clip)

★ Where I Was

March 1990. I mailed 40 postcards to the Orion Tower that said WHERE IS NOVA? I never got an answer. Nobody did.

★ Relay Matrix // Node 01

I tried decoding our pressing myself. I got 'ASK WHERE NOT WHO'. Everyone says I made a mistake. Maybe.
