Hello stranger. I'm Trent. I live in Gainesville, where nobody else has heard of Nova Hart. That's why I made this page. It started with a friend's Walkman on a school trip.
If you want to try this at home: sample at 8 kHz, low-pass hard, decimate. The carrier's there. The hard part is believing it.
Frequency (Hz) | Level (dB) | Spectral Density [FFT 4096] ----------------+------------+-------------------------------- 10.0 Hz | -64 dB | * 14.2 Hz [PEAK]| -42 dB | ************************** [CARRIER] 18.5 Hz | -68 dB | * 50/60 Hz | -52 dB | ******* [MAINS HUM]
Everyone says 14.2 Hz is a secret code. I say it's a sub-harmonic of something in the mastering chain. Prove me wrong. (Someone did, sort of. I'm still sceptical.)
'Midnight Protocol (Part III: The Chorus)' (1989). Most people skip it. Most people are wrong.
My physical collection of Nova Hart records and tapes as of 1996-05-19:
PRESSING / EDITION GRADE NOTES ------------------------------------------ ------ -------------------------- Swedish pressing EX obi strip intact! Korean licensed pressing EX bought for $4
